First Time Attendee for the TGFOA Fall/Spring Conference or
First Time Attendee for the GFOA National Conference
TGFOA offers first-time attendee scholarships for both the TGFOA Spring and Fall conferences, as well as the GFOA national conference, providing up to $1,000 to cover registration, hotel, travel, and meals (if not provided at the conference).
TGFOA:
Applications for the TGFOA Fall Conference must be received by August 31, and applications for the Spring Conference must be received by January 15.
GFOA:
GFOA Scholarship applications must be received by May 1.
This scholarship is intended to support governmental entities that may not have the budgetary capacity to cover these training expenses or those that have historically placed limited emphasis on in-person professional development for finance and accounting staff. By offering this opportunity, TGFOA seeks to remove barriers to participation and help ensure that all finance professionals—regardless of organizational resources—can benefit from high-quality training and peer engagement
